What is ube?
Ube is purple yam native to the Philippines. It tastes almost as if vanilla and pistachio had a purple party. The sweet and earthy nodes pair perfectly with coffee and milk and is sure to elevate your morning coffee game.
Simply add 1-2 tablespoons to a milk, add coffee or espresso, add ice and you've got yourself a delicious ube latte.

From Hawaii to your home.
Hi, I'm Jordan. I'm a Filipino immigrant based in Hawaii where ube is extremely popular. Ube, a purple yam native to the Philippines, has gained popularity, but it has not always been been represented accurately. I've seen large companies sell ube products that actually don't taste anything like ube. Additionally, the coffee lover in me started to notice the lack of global flavors in coffee syrups. So I bridged my passion for coffee and culture and created Purple Potions.
I hope you enjoy the true, and authentic taste of ube as a way to start your mornings.
