What is ube?

Ube is purple yam native to the Philippines. It tastes almost as if vanilla and pistachio had a purple party. The sweet and earthy nodes pair perfectly with coffee and milk and is sure to elevate your morning coffee game.

Simply add 1-2 tablespoons to a milk, add coffee or espresso, add ice and you've got yourself a delicious ube latte.

Hi I'm Jordan, the founder of Purple Potions.

I started Purple Potions because of my love for coffee, matcha, and the Filipino culture. I noticed the lack of Filipino flavors in places that I love including coffee and matcha cafes. Ube has become popular and sold by large companies buts the flavoring you might have tried isn't always true to how ube tastes like.

I hope that ube is represented and shared with the world in the most authentically Filipino way and that you enjoy it as an adventurous way to taste Filipino flavors.
