Ube is a purple yam native to the Philippines, known for its naturally vibrant color and subtly sweet and nutty flavor. It’s been a beloved ingredient in Filipino desserts for generations, from ice cream to pastries.
A lot of people get ube mixed up with taro or purple sweet potato, but ube has a different and unique taste. We only use real Philippine ube in our syrups.

Hi I'm Jordan
I was born and raised in the Philippines and our family immigrated to America when I was 9. In 2023, I lost my job and I spent a lot of time in cafes frantically trying to figure out what’s next. During one of my cafe visits, I noticed the lack of global flavors in coffee and matcha. So I set out to the kitchen to try and mix my favorite Filipino flavors with my morning lattes.
Ube has become a viral latte trend, but most syrups out there don’t reflect how ube actually tastes. I wanted to create an ube syrup that tasted just like my mom’s ube halaya, just ‘remixed’ for my morning lattes (love you mom 😅)
My goal is simple: to represent Filipino flavors in the most authentic way possible and to bring the best and most adventurous flavors to your lattes.
Stay cultured and caffeinated,
Jordan
